Green Valley Veterinary Clinic is the first veterinary hospital of Yucaipa. We have been serving Yucaipa and the surrounding regions for over 60 years. We pride ourselves as being an integral part of the community and educating pet owners on animal health and disease.

Dr. Andrew M. Nawar, Medical Director
Dr. Nawar serves as our medical director. He has been a veterinarian since 2012. His areas of interest are internal medicine and hormonal imbalances such as diabetes, Addison’s disease and Cushing’s disease. He is proud to be a part of the community in Yucaipa. Please do not hesitate to contact him to discuss your concerns and how he can better serve you.
Dr. Troy Ellis, Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Ellis is the previous owner of the hospital. He has been serving the city of Yucaipa for over 35 years. He is well known within the community as one of the longest serving veterinarians in the city of Yucaipa. His area of interest is soft tissue surgery. He currently performs surgery for our patients weekly and sees clients on Wednesdays.
Dr. Michael Long, Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Michael Long joined our practice in April 2018. He is originally from Kansas and has been an excellent addition to our practice. His areas of interest are large and small animal internal medicine with a particular interest in soft tissue surgery. Schedule a consultation to meet Dr. Long today. He is available Monday through Friday.
Dr. Athena Kepler, Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Kepler grew up in the Inland Empire. She is a recent graduate from Western University School of Veterinary Medicine. She has a particlar interest in canine rehabilitation medicine and sports medicine. Dr. Kepler is a genuine person filled with positivity and always places the care of her patients at the forefront of her concerns. She is available on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
Dr. Robert Zielinski, Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Zielinski has been practicing in the Inland Empire his entire career. He was a practice owner in San Bernardino for over 30 years. He brightens up the room with his energy and smile. He is a truly special add to our practice and we are fortunate to have him part of our veterinary medical team. He is available on Wednesdays and Saturday.
Dr. Megan Dispenza, Practice limited to Surgery
Dr. Dispenza is available at our practice for consultations for patients requiring complex orthopedic and soft tissue procedures. Dr. Dispenza is a general practitioner with particular interest in orthopedic disease, most commonly cranial cruciate ligament disease in dogs. She is professionally trained to performed the tibial plateau leveling osteotomy which is the treatment of choice for cranial cruciate ligament disease in dogs.
Dr. Shawn Behrenfeld, Practice limited to Surgery
Dr. Behrenfeld is available at our practice for consultations for patients requiring complex orthopedic and soft tissue procedures. Dr. Behrenfeld is a general practitioner with particular interest in orthopedic disease, most commonly cranial cruciate ligament disease in dogs.
